Barça beats Levante, but Jota Jordi accuses Hernández Hernández: 'Little v...'

FC Barcelona has managed to turn around an adverse result with a clearly unfavorable refereeing performance

It wasn't an easy match at all for FC Barcelona at Ciutat de València. Difficult stadium, excessively wet field where the ball wouldn't roll, and a clearly biased refereeing performance. Because, once again, Hernández Hernández didn't miss his chance to be the main character and harm Barça, making decisions that hurt Hansi Flick's side... clearly influenced by the color of the jersey.

The Catalan team managed to come back from a 0-2 deficit, with Levante led by Hernández Hernández. After halftime, everything changed for Barça: an early goal to close the gap from Pedri and, moments later, Ferran Torres equalized. In stoppage time, after a great cross from Lamine Yamal, Levante scored an own goal, ultimately giving the 3 points to Barcelona.

Jota Jordi reports it

On his X account, Jota Jordi spoke out, showing his anger at Hernández Hernández's performance.

The controversy came in first-half stoppage time, with Levante leading 1-0 on the scoreboard. The referee from the Canary Islands awarded a penalty for alleged handball by Alejandro Balde. His hands were clearly close to his body and he would've had to cut them off not to interfere with the defensive action.

A player in a dark uniform shoots at the goal while several defenders in fluorescent uniforms try to block the ball in front of the goal, and the goalkeeper is watching the play closely.
Penalty called on Balde prior to 2-0 | LaLiga

About Hernández Hernández, the contributor to "El Chiringuito" said bluntly: "What a shameful referee!!!!!!!!! With this man, Barça have only won 56% of their matches. They've already made sure to mess us up as always. This was the one who took a league from us against Betis."

He didn't stop there, later analyzing the penalty called on Alejandro Balde and comparing it to one not given to Aurélien Tchouaméni: "It's the same referee... No shame. He didn't call a penalty for his team. For Barça, yes. They're not even hiding anymore. This year they're going to make it very difficult for us."

More controversy

The refereeing controversy went even further.  After the 80th minute, there was a clear penalty in Levante's box in favor of Barça. This time, Elgezabal clearly brought down Lewandowski... but Hernández Hernández turned a blind eye.

Barcelona demanded the penalty forcefully, but it wasn't awarded. Another robbery and this is just getting started... Despite that, Hansi Flick's side managed to overcome. 2 matches, 2 wins, and 6 points, despite Hernández Hernández.
