Imminent Resolution on Dani Olmo and Barça Already Knows the Latest: ‘Official In…’

The CSD will make the final decision on Dani Olmo's registration with FC Barcelona in the coming days

Dani Olmo's registration is about to be solved definitively. Last January, the Higher Sports Council (CSD) allowed both him and Pau Víctor to be re-registered and play with FC Barcelona. A few months later, it seems that this saga is about to come to an end, with José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, president of the Spanish organization, speaking clearly and forcefully.

Dani Olmo: The decision is imminent

On January 8, this registration was provided after LaLiga deregistered both. In the midst of the struggle for it, the deadline to make a decision is about to end, with its deadline on April 7. Uribes, when asked about it, was forceful, indicating that there will be a smoke signal "in the coming days."

Uribes didn't stop there, adding: "What we have here is a discrepancy, a disagreement, a conflict... Call it what you want, between Barcelona, LaLiga, and the Federation, and we as CSD feel obliged, in accordance with the Sports Law... Which says that athletes must always be protected, to ensure that footballers are not harmed by this conflict."

"In the doubt of playing or not playing while the substance of the matter is solved, we clearly saw that he had to play. The footballer has the right for his professional career to develop normally. It is a precedent, by the way, that we will apply to any other situation, in any other sport," he concluded.

Calm at Barça with Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor

The CSD's final resolution on this case is expected in the coming daysand there is "absolute calm" at BarçaMadrid-Barcelona learned that they expect the ruling to be favorable to their wishes, allowing Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor to be definitively registered in LaLiga.

At Barça, they believe that if this were unfavorable, it would have arrived much earlier, allowing a small margin of maneuver to find a solution to the case. They hope that the CSD will side with them in a complicated matter, in which Javier Tebas has been intervening to try to harm them.

The big surprise has come from Real Madrid, which has not spoken on this matter... meanwhile, even would have intervened, according to LaLiga, for the CSD to grant the precautionary measure. Both Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor are alert to any news, with Barça believing that the ruling will be favorable to them.
