Cristiano Ronaldo Agrees! From Barça to Al-Nassr: Joan Laporta Says Goodbye to Him

Al-Nassr is preparing a strategic signing at FC Barcelona: it has Cristiano Ronaldo's approval

Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to renew his contract with Al-Nassr until 2027, but he has set conditions. From now on, his opinion will be taken even more into account, and he has requested significant changes. Not only in the squad, but also in various important areas of the Saudi team. Recently, they have changed coaches and now they plan to do the same with the CEO, having set their sights on FC Barcelona to replace him.

Cristiano Ronaldo gives the OK: From Barça to Al-Nassr

In recent hours, journalist  Sacha Tavolieri has surprised on his X account, formerly known as Twitter. He has discovered that  Al-Nassr has targeted Rafa Yuste as its candidate for the CEO position. Barça's first vice president of the sports area has reportedly received the Saudi approach to try to convince him with a multimillion-euro offer.

Al-Nassr's idea is for Rafa Yuste to become Majed Al-Jumaan's successor as CEO. Not only is Cristiano Ronaldo's team interested, but in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ahli also wants him.

A lot of money for Rafa Yuste

Rafa Yuste is one of the most important executives in Joan Laporta's organizational chart. He was part of his first term, serving as an executive between 2005 and 2008. Since he won the elections again, he has served as first vice president of the sports area, although, certainly, his relationship has seen better days.

Among other things,  Yuste was not at all pleased with the radical change of plans regarding Xavi Hernández. He was his main supporter and believes things were handled poorly with his departure. In this regard, at times he seriously considered submitting his resignation to Joan Laporta.

Despite this, Laporta managed to reverse the situation, changing Yuste's anger and ensuring that his friend continued at Barça.

Rafa Yuste, who like the rest of the executives doesn't receive a salary from FC Barcelona, now has a significant offer on the table. Al-Nassr is offering him a lot of money to accept the CEO position, so it remains to be seen what will happen with his future at Barça.

This is Rafa Yuste

On its website, FC Barcelona describes Laporta's executive as follows:

"Member 9,977. Barcelona, 1962. Rafa Yuste is a founding partner of AQIPA Iberia, a subsidiary of AQIPA GMBH Austria, with subsidiaries in 13 countries. He is also a consultant specializing in international trade. Since 1983, he has worked in trade in Europe, the United States, Africa, Canada, Asia, and South America. He was an executive at FC Barcelona between 2005 and 2008."
