Robert Lewandowski has faced, as he does every summer, a theoretically uncertain scenario at Barcelona. At 36 years old, he has reached his fourth season as a culer, always with the constant talk of searching for a "9" to replace him. Despite this, the famous striker hasn't arrived, although his departure has been a very real possibility. His agent, Pini Zahavi, has made it public in statements to the newspaper "Fakt".
Crazy offer from Saudi Arabia
Zahavi has revealed that Lewandowski had a significant offer on the table to make a change and go to Saudi Arabia. This reached €100 million tax-free per season (€100 million). He received it a year ago, but he decided to turn it down. His goal is clear: to fight for all the major titles wearing Barça's jersey, including the Champions League.

"I can explain that a year ago he received an offer from Saudi Arabia that offered him €100 million per season. Per season! He didn't want to go. He wanted to fight for major titles. He wanted to fight for La Liga and the Champions League with Barça and he almost achieved all those titles," said Pini Zahavi.
He won't leave Barça
What Robert Lewandowski is certain about is that he will see out his contract at Barça. Once the current season ends, he will have two options on the table: to look for a new challenge or to retire. What he is sure about is that his last team at the elite level will be Barcelona, which will bid him farewell with all honors.
He arrived in 2022 for €45 million (€45 million), being the great global reference sought after Messi's departure. He has replied brilliantly despite his age.

The problem is that next year he will be about to turn 38 and he no longer fits into the culer project. The club will look for a great striker in the market, intending to fill his spot and to build a career alongside Lamine Yamal. The replacement hasn't been chosen yet, but there are several options already being considered.
In any case, one thing is more than decided: neither Robert Lewandowski wants to leave, rejecting Saudi Arabia, nor does Barça want him to leave. The common interest is to fulfill the remainder of the contract and then go their separate ways. Hansi Flick wants to take care of him, giving him a more secondary role in certain matches so he can reach the final stage of the season in top physical condition.
