Confirmed, Hansi Flick can't stand him anymore and gives him to Valencia: 'He's a problem'

FC Barcelona speeds up the departure of a player dismissed by Hansi Flick: he will continue playing in Spain

Pablo Torre's future at Barça is no longer a mystery: his departure seems increasingly imminent. The 22-year-old midfielder has seen his relationship with Hansi Flick deteriorate to the point of a complete breakdown. In a recent interview with SPORT, Torre was blunt: "I think I could've played more minutes. It wasn't fair to me and I told him personally in a conversation I had with him." That frankness showed not only his discontent, but also that confidence in his continuity has gradually faded.

Pablo Torre could leave for Valencia

With a contract until 2026, but a notable lack of opportunities (he only accumulated 421 minutes in 14 matches), Barça understands that Pablo Torre needs a destination where he can play and grow. Reports indicate that Valencia CF have already inquired about him on a loan basis, and there are stronger options in the form of a transfer with a buy-back clause.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona prefer a transfer over a loan, even though Flick would be willing to let him go even for free. What Barça want is to receive income and secure a buy-back option to bring the player back if he excels away from Camp Nou. In addition, if he were to leave on loan, Barça require a contract renewal to prevent him from leaving for free in 2026

The plan is already on the table: renew for one more year (until 2027), and leave on loan or via transfer. Flick has barely counted on him, even in matches with lopsided scores he chose players like Gavi over Pablo Torre

A priority: being important

For the Cantabrian, who reminded the coach that "he respects his decisions, but many times hasn't understood them," the priority has been to play, not to remain in bench ostracism. His move to Valencia with guaranteed minutes seems the logical way out. Although, it must be said, the Che aren't the only ones interested.

On a sporting level, choosing his future with a club like Valencia means taking a firm step. Arriving with greater prominence, confidence, and competitive rhythm is key. On an economic level, a transfer would bring income to FC Barcelona and allow them to plan the squad for Hansi Flick's new project.
