Could Be Disqualified: Laporta and Florentino Join Forces to Oust Tebas from LaLiga

Florentino took the first step with a complaint. Laporta can finish the job with a second complaint

Today, the newspaper Sport reports. Javier Tebas's verbal incontinence and anti-Barcelona stance could lead to his disqualification as president of La Liga de Fútbol Profesional.

Tebas, in a permanent war with Florentino Pérez, has managed to unite Joan Laporta with the Real Madrid president. The latest episode has been the straw that broke the camel's back for FC Barcelona.

Tebas has turned Spanish soccer against Barça. He has implied that it doesn't comply with the prevailing regulations, as if it were paying for its signings and renewals with money it doesn't have. In other words, with Monopoly money.

LaLiga has rebelled against the precautionary measure dictated by the CSD in favor of Dani Olmo's registration. It has demanded another precautionary measure against the CSD's decision.Barça, fed up, leaves the seat it has in LaLiga vacant.

Tebas has achieved it. The Spanish soccer employers' association is against the two most powerful companies that support the setup from which everyone lives. That worries the higher authorities.

The president of LaLiga has approached it from a political point of view. He has made it seem that it is Pedro Sánchez who is behind the defense of Barça that allows it to act against the law. Tebas is politically very far from the president of the Government.

The higher authorities are already fed up with Tebas, his verbal incontinence, and his penchant for hogging the spotlight. Having the two most powerful clubs in the world against him doesn't help either. It is not what is expected from an employers' association with a face and eyes.

Tebas Runs Spanish Soccer as if It Were His Private Estate

At the CSD, they think that Tebas runs Spanish soccer as if it were his private estate. Laporta is willing to go all the way, united with Florentino Pérez, to overthrow him and leave him without his millionaire salary of 3,440,000 euros. Both Barça and Real Madrid understand that this salary should not be used to systematically harm them.

Especially when the success of the Spanish competition depends decisively on its two major clubs.

The newspaper Sport reveals today that Barça is considering denouncing Tebas. It will do so before the Consejo Superior de Deportes. The reason, the publication of an informative note revealing economic details about an operation related to its VIP boxes.

Miguel Galán, an expert in sports law, states in the same medium that we are facing a very serious infraction by Tebas that could lead to his disqualification from holding the position.

Article 5 of the Regulations for the Preparation of LaLiga Budgets indicates that "the information, data, and documents that the clubs and the SAD provide to LaLiga in compliance with this Regulation will be confidential and subject to data protection regulations."

Tebas's Disqualification Is in Laporta's Hands

But Tebas goes his own way, and anything goes in his personal fight against FC Barcelona. The blue and red club never consented to the publication of that information, and LaLiga's note is a violation of the rule.

Javier Tebas was already sanctioned by the Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte (TAD) after a complaint from Real Madrid.A second complaint could lead to his disqualification.

Barça is going to dispense with formalities and diplomacy. Laporta is fed up with Tebas. He considers that the note he released aimed to mount a smear campaign against Barça by questioning the legitimacy of its professional soccer team.

Florentino Pérez took the first step with a complaint. Laporta can complete the work started by his Madrid colleague with another complaint that would mean the end of Javier Tebas as the intriguing president of LaLiga.

He wanted to play with fire and is very close to getting burned.
