Nico Williams will become a new Barça player in the coming weeks. There is a full agreement for him to arrive at Camp Nou, signing a six-season contract, until 2031. He will do so under the salary conditions agreed last summer, and will arrive through the payment of his release clause: €58 million (58 million) plus CPI. Taking all this into account, Barça will immediately start working on departures, with a plan already in place to register its new signings.
5 departures to register players
"Mundo Deportivo" has revealed that Barça has its plan underway to register both Nico Williams and Joan García. In order to do so, it must let go of five players who are currently in the first-team squad.

One of them is Ansu Fati, who is in negotiations to go on loan to Monaco. The percentage of his salary that Barcelona can save will be key. Another key departure will be Ter Stegen who, by leaving, can free up a significant amount of salary to allow the use of "fair play."
There are two sales on the table that are expected to be important. One is Pau Víctor, who is expected to stay in Spain. Meanwhile, there is the case of Andreas Christensen: he has one year left on his contract, he arrived on a free transfer, and he is wanted in Saudi Arabia.
Finally, there is also Pablo Torre, who will leave on loan. The case of Oriol Romeu is still hanging in the air; he will return from Girona after a one-year loan (one year), and is expected to have his contract terminated.
Barça is under the 1:1 rule
With the signing of Joan García completed and Nico Williams's arrival imminent, Joan Laporta has provided updates on Barça's financial situation. Speaking before the senators, he made it clear that Barça is under the 1:1 rule, able to use every euro it frees up to register players.

Barça is expected to solve the VIP seating issue, as well as solve the Libero matter. With these two things, Joan Laporta is confident there will be no financial problems and registrations can be completed, along with several departures. Nico Williams and Joan García are waiting for news; there will be no problem.
