180-degree Turn with Alejandro Balde: Deco Gives the Order and Lamine Yamal is Amazed

The full-back has the doors open at FC Barcelona for the right price: negotiations are already underway with his replacement.

Alejandro Balde hasn't become the full-back that Barça was hoping for, and there might be a surprise regarding his future. The youth player has attracted the interest of several major European teams, and Deco has made the decision: he can leave for the right price. He is by no means untouchable for the culer team, and the idea is that if a good offer comes in, he can leave without complications.

In recent hours, journalist Matteo Moretto has discovered that Paris-Saint Germain is after Alejandro Balde. Everything depends on what happens in the French capital with the future of Nuno Mendes, but the reality is that he would be their priority if the Portuguese player leaves. If this happens, the departure of the youth player from Barça shouldn't be ruled out.

What Madrid-Barcelona can confirm is that Deco has already set a price for Alejandro Balde and doesn't plan to accept a lower offer. If Paris wants the Spaniard, they already know how much they have to pay. Considering his age (21 years) and potential, the sporting director doesn't plan to let him go for less than 60 million euros.

This is the price set for a full-back with a contract until 2028, which would only bring profits to Barça's coffers. Having returned to the 1:1 rule and with Balde being a youth player, those 60 million could be entirely allocated to other transfers. He is an important player, but by no means untouchable: for the right offer, he can leave.

Balde's situation isn't expected to be imminent, so Deco will have time to negotiate with his potential replacement. In this regard, the priority is clear: Alphonso Davies. His contract ends next June 30, and he still hasn't renewed with Bayern, despite being the strongest rumor.

Davies is also wanted by Real Madrid, although it seems this interest has decreased in recent weeks, coinciding with his approach to Bayern. While all this is happening, Deco remains in the background, waiting to make some kind of move for the Canadian.

The Barça sporting director is clear: if he manages to sell Alejandro Balde for 60 million euros and brings in his replacement for free, he will have succeeded. However, it's not a simple scenario, and he will have to work hard on both options. It doesn't seem clear at all.
