Real Madrid has several matters to finalize in its squad planning as soon as it returns from the Club World Cup. Xabi Alonso is making progress, determining which players he wants and which ones he doesn't in his project. One name highlighted since his arrival has been Rodrygo Goes, who's coming off a very difficult season and it seems his fate is already sealed.
Bayern going all in for Rodrygo
After missing out on several targets, Madrid-Barcelona has learned that Bayern has identified Rodrygo as its top priority for this summer. In Munich, they're looking for a left winger and the Brazilian is their favorite option. They've let some of the names ahead of him slip away and now there's no doubt: he's number 1.
In this regard, Real Madrid is fully aware of the interest and is open to letting him leave. Xabi isn't fully convinced by him and Florentino Pérez is willing to cash in. The president has set a price for his departure of €90 million, recovering the investment made years ago and even making a profit.

There's no doubt: anyone who doesn't want to stay has the door open. If Rodrygo Goes asks to leave for Bayern, Florentino won't put up any obstacles.
Tough time for Rodrygo Goes
Rodrygo Goes isn't going through his best moment at Real Madrid. At 24 years old, the Brazilian forward has had an inconsistent season, in which he ended up losing prominence in the starting eleven. Despite playing 52 official matches, his numbers (14 goals and 11 assists) haven't been enough to establish himself as an undisputed starter.
What seemed like the year of his definitive breakthrough has turned into a season full of doubts. With the emergence of young talents and the arrival of new stars, Rodrygo has been pushed into the background. In many stretches of the season, he's been more of a substitute coming off the bench than a guarantee in the starting line-up. The fierce competition in attack, combined with the demands of Real Madrid, has caused his development to stall compared to the promise he showed in his first seasons.

No one doubts his quality, but the reality is that his future seems far from Real Madrid. Bayern is coming in strong, and Rodrygo Goes would welcome it. Or so it seems...
