Tomás Roncero warns Luis de la Fuente, unexpected rival for Spain: 'Watch out for...'

Roncero is amazed by his latest match and the makeover given by his new manager

In the middle of the international break, we're seeing several teams step up in an unexpected way. Hours after Spain thrashed Bulgaria in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match, Tomás Roncero has issued a warning. On his X account, formerly known as Twitter, the journalist was clear, pointing to a national team no one is counting on that has climbed out of the pit: Brazil.

Recovered by Ancelotti

Roncero didn't hold back, stating after the recent 3-0 win against Chile: "Watch out for Ancelotti's Brazil. The Canarinha have brought back the jogo bonito and they're playing as a unit with ambition. 3-0 against Chile at Maracanã".

In this regard, the journalist's message was forceful: "Carlo has rescued them from the pit they were sunk in. When Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, and Militao return, they'll be even more fearsome".

Brazil's major threats

Brazil's national team arrives at the 2026 World Cup with the "underdog" label. Not only does it have a world-class coach like Carlo Ancelotti, but it also boasts a great generation of footballers capable of making a difference at any moment. For Spain, the South American team is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous rivals on the road to glory.

The Verdeamarela's attack is made up of three players of enormous quality. Vinícius Júnior, Real Madrid's star, is an unstoppable footballer in one-on-one situations and decisive in big matches. Alongside him, Rodrygo Goes brings mobility, goals, and a great ability to link up, while Raphinha, from Barça, adds verticality and the ability to break through tight defenses.

Joao Pedro also appears in attack, and with his power and goal-scoring instinct, he can be the reference to complement the stars. However, Brazil's greatest hope lies in Estevao Willian, a young man just 18 who has just signed for Chelsea and is already being compared to the country's historic great talents.

With Ancelotti in charge, Brazil have tactical balance and quality in all its lines. Spain will have to prepare to face a team with speed, firepower, and endless offensive options. The 2026 World Cup could see Canarinha as a surprise contender for the title. Tomás Roncero was right to issue a warning.
