Tomás Roncero Says What All of Madridismo Thinks: 'Not One More Game...'

"We gaze at our navels and think we're the most handsome." Tomás Roncero engages in self-criticism after the debacle against Barça

Tomás Roncero has experienced the Madridist debacle against Barça in the Super Cup final with indignation.

The journalist from the As newspaper had faith that Real Madrid could make history this season. They needed to win the septuple in an extraordinary season with 7 titles at stake.

The Septuple Can Only be a Sextuple

However, it won't reach seven. At most, six, like Guardiola's Barça and Hansi Flick's Bayern, two coaches with a blaugrana hue.

However, Carlo Ancelotti still has time to achieve the sextuple. He's already won the Spanish Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup against Pachuca. He still needs LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup.

Tomás Roncero was devastated at the end of the match. On his X account, he wrote: "Definitely, Tchouaméni can't continue being Real Madrid's starting center-back." The journalist from the As newspaper pointed directly at the French international.

The Haters Go after Tomás Roncero

Simultaneously, he admitted the quality of Lamine Yamal, who began to tip the balance in favor of Barça.

On social media, there was no time wasted for Tomás Roncero's haters to come out of hiding. They've done so by playing with the last two digits of the year we've just entered, which are the figures of the Super Cup final's result.

Roncero was indignant: "We're a sieve at the back. Embarrassing. And Tchouaméni, no words..."

Roncero Points to the Responsible Party

Roncero insisted on Tchouaméni's responsibility. "I don't ask Tchouaméni to be an elite center-back, but at least pass it to our players," he said.

Tomás Roncero was very burned by Tchouaméni's play, a player whose departure from Real Madrid he has been advocating for some time. He doesn't want him to play another match with Real Madrid, at least as a center-back.

Real Madrid has conceded nine goals in their two encounters against Barça this season with Mbappé. Something is happening here, and a solution must be found. The sextuple is still possible, but the attitude needs to change.

In Carrusel Deportivo, he launched a seven-point manifesto to Real Madrid's players:

-Open-handed slap

-We're navel-gazing

-We think we're the most handsome

-Fifteen transfers aren't enough

-Less laughter, less Instagram

-We need to win LaLiga and the Champions League

-In the offices, they need to get their act together
