Real Madrid is already fully immersed in preparations for the 2025/2026 season. In Valdebebas, training sessions are taking place one after another while doubts are being cleared up about the final squad Xabi Alonso will manage in his league debut.
Amid this uncertainty, an authoritative voice has spoken up. Siro López has broken his silence and has done so with a forceful statement.
"He can't spend two years like this"
In statements to Cadena COPE, the veteran Galician journalist was very clear when analyzing the situation of the young Brazilian forward. "Endrick can't spend two consecutive years playing so few minutes," he stated. "I'm one of those who believe he should go out on loan," he concluded.
Siro López compared the career of Gonzalo García, revelation of the Club World Cup and confirmed by Xabi Alonso, with that of Endrick. The latter has seen his progress halted by a lack of minutes and continuity.

"Gonzalo has competed a lot, he's played almost everything with Castilla and the little time he's spent with the first team, he's done well," Siro explained. "Endrick, on the other hand, needs minutes. He won't get them if Rodrygo stays, since he's also part of that rotation."
Siro's advice: loan in Spain or Germany
Siro López's recommendation was clear: a loan without a purchase option to a top-division team in Spain or Germany. "It would be key for his development and evolution," he pointed out. "He has quality, but he needs prominence and playing time."
According to COPE sources, Endrick was very close to joining Real Sociedad. The Basque club had everything agreed with Madrid. Only the signature was missing, but an injury frustrated the deal at the last moment.
The setback of the injury
Everything fell apart last May. In the match against Sevilla, Endrick suffered a hamstring injury, was left out of the end of the league, and also the Club World Cup. Although he traveled to the United States with the team, his recovery has been slower than expected.
Now, his return is estimated for mid-September. Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso will have to decide whether to give him minutes... or to follow Siro López's advice and loan him out. Because the Galician is clear: Endrick needs to play, and Madrid isn't the place for him right now.
