Siro López announces the signing Real Madrid is preparing if Rodrygo leaves: '30M'

The journalist has revealed the name of the forward that Real Madrid likes if Rodrygo Goes ends up leaving

Real Madrid is keeping an eye on several operations that could alter its sports planning for next season. The arrivals section is very advanced, with few issues left to solve, but when it comes to departures, there are still matters hanging in the air. One is Rodrygo, who may have lost his starting spot and it's still unclear what will happen with his future at Santiago Bernabéu.

At this time, nobody is ruling anything out with Rodrygo. Just as his departure could happen, he could also leave. What Real Madrid is certain about is that, if he does leave, it won't be for less than 100 million euros. In this regard, everything is planned and even Siro López has revealed the name of the replacement Xabi Alonso has in mind. He is someone Xabi knows well and only costs 30 million euros.

Siro López reveals Real Madrid's idea

Speaking on his Twitch channel, Siro López was clear: "It's going to be more necessary. If Rodrygo is sold, and I think he's the one who's going to be sold, it's going to be more normal for Madrid to spend part of that money on a center forward and spend 30 or 40 million."

Although there have been many names on the table, the Galician has announced the chosen one. "I think they're going to go for Patrik Schick, a guy who can still be taken advantage of. He's 29 years old (29 años) so you can have him for 4 or 5 seasons, he's good in the air," he said.

Patrik Schick, the surprise option for Real Madrid

Patrik Schick has had one of the best seasons of his career. At 29 years old (29 años), the Czech has been one of Leverkusen's offensive pillars, recording 27 goals and 1 assist in 45 official matches. Under Xabi Alonso's orders, Schick has regained his best form, proving to be a complete striker, dominant in the air and decisive in the opponent's box.

His size (6 ft. 3 in. (1.91 m)), finishing accuracy, and goal-scoring instinct have put him on Real Madrid's radar. Xabi Alonso is said to have directly recommended him to the club's sporting management as a possible offensive reinforcement for next season. His experience, maturity, and physical profile fit as an alternative to the more mobile forwards in the white squad, especially if Rodrygo leaves.

Schick not only provides goals, he also relieves the offensive play, pins down center-backs, and creates space for his teammates. His performance has been key for a Leverkusen that won the Bundesliga, going unbeaten until the end.

With a contract until 2027, Real Madrid's interest is serious, although signing him won't be easy. Patrik Schick could become one of the surprises of the market, with Santiago Bernabéu as a possible next destination
