Rodrygo Goes goes after Florentino and tells him to his face, it's official: 'I want to go...'

He has made the final decision about his future after giving it a lot of thought during this international break

During the last summer transfer window, the name of Rodrygo Goes was surrounded by speculation. There was talk of a possible farewell to Real Madrid, although he ultimately ended up staying at Santiago Bernabéu. However, far from dispelling doubts, the rumors have returned even stronger ahead of next January.

According to François Gallardo on his official X account, the Brazilian striker has already made a firm decision regarding his immediate future

François Gallardo speaks clearly

Gallardo was blunt on X, stating: "Rodrygo Goes has decided to request to leave Real Madrid in the winter transfer window. He wants to play regularly to be drafted for the World Cup with Brazil as advised by Ancelotti and to be important. Unique information! End boom! Let's get to it...

These words have had a huge impact among Madridists, as they confirm what many suspected. The Brazilian is tired of not having the prominence he desired and wants to take a step forward at another club.

Florentino already knows

Rodrygo has reportedly had a direct conversation with Florentino Pérez to express his situation. The player, clearly, told the president: "I want to go to the World Cup and that depends on my departure from Real Madrid."

The Brazilian knows that he needs quality minutes to be on Brazil's list and believes that, in the current context of Real Madrid, he doesn't have enough space to show his true level.

Xabi Alonso's lack of trust

One of the main reasons for this decision is Xabi Alonso's lack of trust. The Basque coach doesn't see him as an undisputed starter and, despite his efforts, Rodrygo has been relegated to a secondary role.

With players like Vinícius Júnior, Bellingham, or even youngsters like Franco Mastantuono having more prominence, the Brazilian has felt that his time in Madrid has reached a dead end

A future outside Santiago Bernabéu

Rodrygo has a long-term contract with Madrid, but his desire to be important in the next World Cup outweighs any other circumstance. Leaving in January won't be easy, as he needs the approval of Florentino Pérez, who is asking for a lot of money for his sale.

In this regard, his market value and undeniable quality ensure that he won't lack offers in Europe. Clubs from the Premier League have already shown interest in the situation, and it wouldn't be surprising if significant offers arrive in the coming weeks.

The decision has been made: Rodrygo Goes wants to leave Real Madrid in the winter transfer window. The Brazilian is seeking minutes, trust, and regularity to be able to play a leading role with his national team at the World Cup. He has made it clear both publicly, through François Gallardo's information, and privately, with his direct conversation with Florentino.

At Santiago Bernabéu moments of maximum tension are approaching, because the future of the Brazilian striker could be solved much sooner than desired.
