Real Madrid Beats Las Palmas — Vinícius Júnior Goes after Kylian Mbappé: ‘You’re…’

Real Madrid regains the lead after overpowering Las Palmas at Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid hasn't had any trouble reclaiming the top spot in LaLiga. They've done it by seizing the moment, overpowering Las Palmas and securing a resounding victory at Santiago Bernabéu with a score of 4 to 1. Although the match started poorly, conceding a goal in the first 30 seconds, Carlo Ancelotti's team quickly turned the score around.

In the opening minutes, it seemed like Madrid would have a tough time overcoming Las Palmas. From the start, the scoreboard already showed 0 to 1, but the home team never gave up. After the first quarter-hour, specifically in the 18th minute, Mbappé equalized the match, taking advantage of a clear penalty committed by former Barcelona player Sandro.

The white team had the chance to take the lead shortly after, but Brahim missed an easy shot. However, the Spanish-Moroccan redeemed himself minutes later, in the 33rd minute, scoring the 2 to 1.

From that moment on, Real Madrid became an attacking machine, with Mbappé scoring another goal shortly after. The scoreline could have been even larger, but a goal was disallowed for offside against Kylian. However, in the second half, Rodrygo extended the lead.

Vinícius Júnior was emphatic, telling Kylian Mbappé: "You're very good". He had one of his best matches wearing Real Madrid's jersey, leading in challenging moments and scoring a brace. It's true he could have even increased his personal tally, but the truth is he didn't even need to.
