Real Madrid beat Celta, Courtois portrays Barça: Lewandowski, KO

Madrid get three more points in LaLiga before the Clasico, and Courtois sends a message to Barça and Lewandowski.

Real Madrid have picked up three important points in La Liga against Celta after returning from the international break, with a very good performance from Courtois . In the capital now it's all smiles, because, although the game was difficult, the three points have been obtained on a difficult field before the Clasico. The Belgian goalkeeper has shone in front of everyone, making it clear why he is the best, and has also sent a clear message to Barça and Lewandowski.

Carlo Ancelotti didn't field his star eleven against Celta, but the truth is that it worked for him despite Madrid's poor performance. The result ended in his favor, 1-2, but he had to suffer until the end and cross himself in front of the best goalkeeper on the planet, Courtois. The goalkeeper once again looked like no other, after returning completely recovered from his recent discomfort.

there's much to criticise in this Real Madrid victory: despite the three points, the game was very bad and Ancelotti has to criticise himself. The set-up was poor, beating Celta by the minimum and having to use Courtois who was once again superb between the posts.

He had to make several outstanding moves for Real Madrid to beat Celta. He stopped one-on-one attacks, he had to move the game from the back and he corrected defensive errors by his teammates. Certainly, the Belgian was excellent, making it clear to Lewandowski that he will have to do very well to overcome him in the next Clasico de Liga.

Courtois challenges Lewandowski: he won't be able to mark him

Courtois is currently the best goalkeeper on the planet and Lewandowski is the most in-form striker in La Liga. In the next Clásico, which will be played on Saturday 26 October at Santiago Bernabéu, only one player can emerge victorious from this particular duel... and Thibaut is clear that it will be him.

Lewandowski currently leads the list of top scorers in Spain. He has scored ten goals in the games he has played, while he is waiting to host Sevilla in Barcelona. He seems to be experiencing a second youth thanks to Hansi Flick and Courtois will have to stop him at the Bernabéu in a week.

He likes these games and he is growing. After his performance against Celta, Courtois wants to continue turning Real Madrid's goal into a wall. The next games will be crucial and the Belgian is set to be very important: the Bernabéu will host Borussia Dortmund and Barça in a matter of days.
