Ramón Álvarez de Mon Announces the 2 Center-backs Florentino Wants for Real Madrid

The renowned communicator makes the names public and points out the difficulties of both operations for Real Madrid

The Real Madrid plans a complete reconstruction of its defense, but it seems these plans wouldn't be fulfilled until the coming years. In recent hours, the communicator Ramón Álvarez de Mon has discovered that the two defenders Florentino wants play in the Premier League.  Specifically, they are William Saliba and Ibrahima Konaté, whose arrivals are "very complicated" for this upcoming summer.

William Saliba, Real Madrid's Priority

William Saliba has become, on his own merits, one of the best defenders in the world. At 24 years old, the Frenchman leads Arsenal's defense and is one of the key pieces of the team managed by Arteta... who fights for everything both in England and Europe.

His elegance, physical prowess, and anticipation ability have placed him on the radar of the big clubs... and Real Madrid is no exception.

From Santiago Bernabéu, they closely follow his evolution, as  they believe William Saliba would fit perfectly into the club's future alongside Asencio. However, his signing presents itself as a very complicated operation. The Frenchman has a contract with Arsenal until 2027, and the London club has no intention of selling him in the short term.

Moreover, his market value has skyrocketed,  already exceeding 80 million euros, a figure that Real Madrid is not willing to pay right now. Florentino Pérez has him on the agenda, but he knows it will be a long battle. For now, William Saliba will continue to shine in London... although at Bernabéu they dream of seeing him in white.

Ibrahima Konaté, a 'Wildcard' That Appeals to Florentino

Meanwhile, one of the names that has gained strength in recent months is Ibrahima Konaté, a center-back for the Pool. At 25 years old, the Frenchman has established himself as one of the most complete defenders in the Premier, standing out for his physical power, anticipation ability, and ball-playing skills.

Konaté has a contract with the Reds until 2026, but his future is not completely assured, especially with the existing interest from Real Madrid. At Santiago Bernabéu, his name has been highlighted as a serious option to strengthen the defense, as noted by Ramón Álvarez de Mon.

The Frenchman would fit perfectly into the young and ambitious project Florentino is building, and his age makes him a bet for both present and future. Although it won't be an easy or cheap operation, in Madrid they are already considering the possibility of going for his signing soon. The door is ajar, although it's complicated, just like William Saliba.
