Real Madrid has closed a deal that had become complicated in recent times. Finally, after so many rumors pointing to his departure, Vinícius Júnior has agreed to renew his contract with the white club, certifying his continuity, at least, until 2030. He has done so with a new multimillion-dollar deal, which will place him at the top of the salary scale, sharing that honor with Mbappé.
Vinícius Júnior: 100 Million for Five Years
AS has revealed that Vinícius Júnior will sign until 2030 with Real Madrid, extending his current contract by three more years. In purely economic terms, the Brazilian will now have the highest salary on the team, not counting the bonus Mbappé receives annually for having arrived on a free transfer.

The new salary conditions will apply as soon as he signs the new deal. From 2025 to 2030, Vinícius will earn a figure around 100 million euros net, with the corresponding taxes already deducted.
There will also continue to be significant incentives in this deal with Real Madrid for achieved objectives. There will be collective ones, such as titles, but also individual ones. In this latter category is scoring a certain number of goals per season, or especially winning the Ballon d'Or or The Best. In the event that he wins some of these awards, we would be talking about an additional two or three million extra.
Vinícius Júnior Rejects a Lot of Money
Although Madrid has had to dig deep to ensure his continuity, to which Xabi Alonso has already given the OK, Vinícius Júnior has also made an effort. In the merengue team, he will earn 100 million euros tax-free over the next five years, but the money he turned down from Arabia was much greater.

For these five years that he will remain at Real Madrid, Vinícius would have multiplied his earnings tenfold in Saudi Arabia. In total, he would have received one billion euros tax-free for leaving Santiago Bernabéu.
Despite considering it at times and seeming close to an unexpected change of scenery, Vinícius Júnior ultimately chose to reject the multimillion-dollar proposal. He wasn't convinced about leaving so young and for so many years, preferring to continue in Madrid for much less money and certifying his support for the new project that Xabi Alonso will lead.
