In the last few hours, information has come to light that speaks of a complete agreement between Madrid and Alphonso Davies, but it seems that it's not entirely true. Following this, the Canadian's representative, Nedal Huoseh, has spoken out and, in statements to journalist Fabrizio Romano, has tried to deny any kind of agreement reached.
"This is not true. Although Alphonso Davies has many options, we have not agreed terms with any club. A new deal with Bayern could also be an option. Any information suggesting otherwise is incorrect," said Nedal Huoseh in statements collected by Fabrizio Romano.
Davies Close to Real Madrid... but Nothing is Certain
Davies' agent has been clear that he hasn't yet reached an agreement. However, the reality is that the Canadian is dying to wear the Real Madrid jersey and a deal seems close to being reached. The conditions offered suit both parties and the intention would be to sign a contract in January.
From January 1, Davies will be free to negotiate his future with any team. His contract with Bayern expires on June 30, 2025, and his intention is to leave for free. The only thing that would keep the Canadian in Germany would be a big salary offer, something that seems unlikely to happen.
In this context, Real Madrid is the clearest option for Alphonso Davies. There have already been many contacts between the two parties and there's mutual interest in reaching an agreement as soon as possible.
In addition to Real Madrid and Bayern, Davies is also said to have offers from other European clubs, such as Barça and Manchester United... although the truth is that he is not entirely convinced by these options.
There are obstacles between Davies and Madrid
Talks between Real Madrid and Alphonso Davies have hit several obstacles. Bayern Munich are reluctant to let one of their star players leave, and the financial demands could exceed Real Madrid's current expectations. Furthermore, according to 'Bavarian Football Works', negotiations between Davies and Bayern are at a standstill, adding uncertainty to his future.
In any case, Madrid are completely calm and confident that an agreement can be reached as soon as possible. Although the reality is that, as Davies' agent has said, nothing has been done yet.
