Official, Kylian Mbappé Is Injured: Ancelotti Already Knows if He Will Make It to the Cup Final

Mbappé was injured and couldn't finish the match against Arsenal: his condition and availability are already known

Real Madrid has subjected Kylian Mbappé to the necessary medical tests, which have revealed that he suffers from a sprain in his right ankle. The results of these examinations suggest a short recovery time, but not conclusive, which casts doubt on his availability for the Cup final. This is scheduled in 8 days, next Saturday, April 26, and the question is whether the Frenchman will be able to play it.

Carlo Ancelotti has personally spoken with Mbappé after learning about the state of his injury and seems to be more at ease. Being eliminated from Europe, the Frenchman has assured him that, if necessary, he will push himself to play against Barcelona in the Cup. He doesn't want to let Madrid down and will do everything he can in the coming days to try to be in good condition.

If he doesn't make it, Kylian Mbappé is clear that he will push himself to try to be available for Ancelotti. For now, there is calm in Real Madrid, although it is true that there are certain doubts about his current physical condition. They don't want the sprain to be worse than it already is, but we are talking about a very important match against FC Barcelona where a title will be at stake.

Kylian Mbappé Feels Responsible

Kylian Mbappé is experiencing his most bitter days since he arrived at Real Madrid. The French forward, called to lead the attack in important moments, did not manage to be up to the task in the quarter-final tie against Arsenal... and the player himself is aware of it.

Mbappé barely caused danger during the 74 minutes he played in the second leg at Bernabéu. His performance was far below what was desired, and he ended up asking for a substitution after injuring his ankle. Minutes after his substitution, Real Madrid did not generate danger and ended up conceding another goal.

According to sources close to the locker room, the Frenchman feels guilty for the outcome of the tie. He is aware that great players must appear on important nights, and this time he didn't (twice). His serious face after the match said it all.

Although there is still a season ahead, Mbappé knows that the Champions League is the club's and the fans' main goal. And after the defeat against Arsenal, the first major setback in his time as a Madridist has come sooner than expected.
