It’s Official! Davide Ancelotti Has a New Team and There’s a Surprise: ‘I’m Going to…’

Carlo Ancelotti's son makes his next destination official after weeks of intense speculation

There has been a lot of speculation in recent weeks regarding the future of Davide Ancelotti. Many authoritative voices suggested that he wanted to start his individual career as a coach, but it seems there has been a change of plans. The CBF has announced recently that, once again, he will work alongside his father Carlo, joining Brazil's staff as his right-hand man.

In this new adventure, Carletto had gathered his trusted group to begin the journey, and only Davide Ancelotti had decided to break away. Despite this, after a first goalless match in Ecuador, he has already joined the group, seeking the first victory of the Ancelotti era this Tuesday against Paraguay.

It's official: Davide Ancelotti is going to Brazil

Brazil itself has made this move official, confirming through a statement the integration of Davide Ancelotti into the CBF's technical staff:

"The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is pleased to announce that Davide Ancelotti will arrive in São Paulo over the weekend to join the technical staff of the Brazilian National Team.

Son of Carlo Ancelotti, Davide is Italian, he is 35 years old, and he will be one of the technical assistants for the National Team. He began his career as an assistant in 2015 and has worked at clubs such as Napoli, Everton, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.

With a solid academic background in sports science, he holds the FIFA PRO license and is coming to contribute to the team's preparation for upcoming international challenges.

Davide Ancelotti's arrival to the National Team represents another step by the CBF in the pursuit of innovation and technical improvement. His international experience and training methodologies will be essential for the development of the players and the building of an even more competitive team.

The CBF welcomes Davide Ancelotti and trusts that his presence will be an important reinforcement in the Brazilian National Team's journey toward their goals."

Davide Ancelotti's solo career on hold

There has been a lot of speculation in recent weeks about the next destination of Carletto's son. He seemed to be close to Rangers in Scotland, thus starting his individual career. However, in the end, they chose another coach. He was also on Getafe's list in case Bordalás left, but he has decided not to wait any longer.

Davide Ancelotti, in this way, will continue to be linked to his father and will play an essential role in the new project for Brazil's national team.
