The defeat against Milan has caused a lot of pain for Real Madrid fans. The team seems to have hit rock bottom and the club is looking for solutions to get out of the crisis.
Ancelotti's substitution, leaving Fede Valverde on the bench as a solution, at half-time of Real Madrid-Milan has caused turmoil.
Mina Bonino Didn't Like Ancelotti's Change
The Italian coach justified the change due to physical discomfort of the Uruguayan midfielder His wife Mina Bonino, however, has denied it on social media.
Mina Bonino has taken the opportunity to make a tactical recommendation to Ancelotti regarding her husband. She asked him not to play him as a winger and to put him in his true position.
That position is none other than that of pivot, the big blemish on Real Madrid's record since Toni Kroos announced his retirement from soccer.
"I'd better shut this down[her account]or else I'll go to jail," Mina Bonino posted on X. This was after Valverde's change, who stayed in the locker room at half-time.
Mina Bonino's Controversial Tweet that She Ended Up Deleting
One user told her that the change was well done because Valverde wasn't having his day. She replied:
"He's playing on the wing, you know? Because I never see wingers being criticized for falling back. Ah, but they will criticize the idiot that's everywhere, yes."
The "idiot" was Valverde.
She then deleted the conversation. Carlo Ancelotti was asked after the match about the tweet from Valverde's wife. This was his response:
"It's difficult to talk about what people think on social media. I took him off because I thought he wasn't at 100%; he had back problems. It seemed like he wasn't at his best physical level, that's why I changed him."
It's clear that Mina Bonino didn't like the change or Ancelotti's explanation either. She knew, better than anyone, that her husband had no physical problems.
This is not the first time that Fede Valverde's wife has gotten into this type of mess defending her husband.
