Luis Enrique wants to get him out of Real Madrid now: he's seeking revenge for Mastantuono

The Asturian is seeking revenge after losing a signing he had practically secured

Real Madrid has pulled off a completely unexpected coup with Franco Mastantuono. While in Paris they considered him already signed, a quick trip by Juni Calafat to Buenos Aires, along with a call from Xabi Alonso, changed everything. After losing a talent who looks set to be generational, at PSG, with  Luis Enrique at the helm, they're demanding revenge and promising a fierce battle with Madrid.

Luis Enrique seeks revenge for Mastantuono

"El Nacional" has revealed that Luis Enrique has already identified his target to respond to the blow dealt by Real Madrid: Arda Güler. The Asturian, after winning the Champions League, wants to get revenge for Mastantuono by taking one of the most promising talents at Bernabéu. He's interested in the young Turk and promises him an important role at the European champion.

Arda Güler has played a very secondary role since his arrival at Real Madrid. The two seasons he has spent in the Spanish capital have been almost identical. Few minutes at the start of the campaign and more importance in the final stretch of the season. He hopes this will change with Xabi, although the arrival of Mastantuono, a player with similar potential who plays in his position, raises doubts for him.

The outlook for Güler seems complicated, as he could be further relegated in the rotation due to the arrival of Franco Mastantuono. Taking all this into account,  at PSG they consider him "a market opportunity". It's a personal request from Luis Enrique, who considers him one of the players with the most potential in Europe and who could further raise the ceiling of the current European champion.

Arda Güler: Luis Enrique has to look elsewhere

Arda Güler is one of the great jewels of European soccer and at Real Madrid they're clear: he's not for sale. Luis Enrique has shown a strong interest in the young Turkish talent, who's 20 years old, but at the white club they refer to his release clause, set at €1 billion (1,000 million euros). There won't be negotiations.

Xabi, new coach of Real Madrid, has conveyed total trust in Güler for next season. The Basque coach considers the attacking midfielder a key piece for his medium- and long-term project. His technical quality, vision, and ability to make a difference in tight spaces make Arda a unique player

Real Madrid's message is clear: Arda Güler is untouchable. The Turkish talent is a club asset and is destined to define an era at Santiago Bernabéu, even if this pains Luis Enrique.
