The relationship between Kylian Mbappé and PSG is virtually non-existent. After several contractual disputes and unfavorable treatment towards the French star, tensions have escalated. So much so that the situation is now being debated in court: The Parisians owe millions to Mbappé. This wear and tear has ruled out any possibility of reconciliation between both parties.
Furthermore, the relationship between Mbappé and PSG manager Luis Enrique also ended badly. During his time in Paris, the striker felt that he didn't receive the respect he deserved. It came neither from the club nor from the coaching staff, which reinforced his determination to leave PSG and end his time in Paris.
Now, Mbappé seems determined to make his exit at PSG have consequences for them. With an eye to the future, the striker has spoken to Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez. He's done so to recommend the transfer of Fabián Ruiz, the Spanish midfielder who is shining both at PSG and La Roja. Mbappé is convinced that Real Madrid urgently needs a player of these characteristics.
Kylian Mbappé is Clear about It
With the recent departure of Toni Kroos and injuries to Camavinga and Bellingham, Real Madrid's creative play has been limited. Although players like Valverde and Tchouaméni excel in other areas, they don't have the qualities of a creative midfielder with a long and accurate pass.
Mbappé, on the other hand, believes that Fabián Ruiz could be the missing piece for the team. Ruiz's ability to distribute the ball and make the finishing pass could revitalize the Madrid midfield.
Real Madrid has already considered Fabián in the past but never made the final move to sign him. First, when the player was at Betis; then, when he signed for Napoli at the request of then-coach Carlo Ancelotti. Now perhaps the time has come, although there's only one problem. PSG has also broken ties with Florentino's Madrid and it will be difficult to get Fabián out of Paris.
So, Mbappé's recommendation to sign Fabián Ruiz for Real Madrid is not just a mere soccering question. Kylian has his sights set on Luis Enrique's team and removing Fabián would be a hard blow.
Real Madrid has the chance to add a creative talent and complete the transition in midfield. Meanwhile, Mbappé will leave behind a stage that, for him, has been full of conflicts and disappointments.
