Juanma Castaño Finds Out the Latest and Explodes with Real Madrid: ‘Inexplicable’

The journalist from 'COPE' doesn't understand what's happening and launches a criticism at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid can't lift their head in Women's Soccer. Since its creation, they have consistently lost against Barça, who have always shown tremendous superiority. After losing in the last Clásico, El Partidazo host Juanma Castaño has spoken, harshly criticizing the merengue coach, Alberto Toril.

Juanma Castaño was not amused by Toril's message after losing 0-5. He said: "The one steering the ship is the coach. It's Alberto Toril, and he can't send a message after a 0-5 loss focusing on the positives."

"You can do that one day, when you have an accident, but if this is the path and with so many matches, it's inexplicable that he maintains this discourse," Castaño added.

Alberto Toril is 'always positive'

The truth is that, despite not having won against Barça, not even drawn, Alberto Toril has always tried to see things on the bright side. After falling in the last Clásico 0-5, he stated: "It's difficult to assess a 0-5, but I always try to take the positives. I think in the game, looking at the statistics, we were very even in possession and even in shots we had more than them."

"But the areas were decisive. The game was even, but the result was very conclusive. They, with very few goal opportunities, were very, very effective," pointed out Alberto Toril.

Real Madrid can't lift their head against Barça

Of the 17 matches (all played) that Madrid has lost against Barça, Alberto Toril has been their coach in 15 of them. There has been a full streak of defeats during this time, with 55 goals against and only 5 in favor.

These are very poor numbers that, added to the situation on the field, could make Florentino consider a change on the bench. So far, no title has been won, and the situation doesn't seem to be improving.

Considering all the poor results accumulated at the helm of Real Madrid over these years, Alberto Toril's position is in doubt. Juanma Castaño is clear: you can't try to take the positives from never having beaten FC Barcelona. There is no improvement, the results are even worsening, and there seem to be doubts in the Women's Soccer project...
