Real Madrid is planning the squad for the next season. Many names are emerging to take a place among Florentino Pérez's chosen ones, but one seems to be very close to being finalized soon. The renowned Marca journalist José Félix Díaz informed about the return of the youth player Nico Paz, now at Como, for the upcoming campaign.
José Félix Díaz has stated that at Real Madrid "they speak positively" about the reports for Nico Paz's return in the summer. His price will not be a problem: he was sold to Como for 6 million, and he can be recovered for only 9. This makes him a real bargain, especially seeing how he is performing in Italy this season, under Fàbregas's orders.

Nico Paz's value "has multiplied" with this season at Como, and the reality is that Real Madrid values him very positively. Although, in these cases, a 3-year margin is usually given, with the Spanish-Argentine it has taken little time to see that he has elite level. "He is set to be one" of the signings that Florentino is preparing for the 2025-26 season.
Nico Paz, and another one: José Félix Díaz reveals the plan with La Fábrica
Real Madrid is working hard to have recognizable faces from the youth academy in the first team squad again. It is true that with Ancelotti they haven't had much importance in the coming years, but it is considered key to also reduce squad costs. Nico Paz is one of the most striking cases, although it is true that he would not be the only youth player to return for the next season.
José Félix Díaz has also pointed out in Marca the name of Miguel Gutiérrez. The full-back would have become one of the first options after negotiations for Davies fell through. Real Madrid can recover him for only 8 million euros, being a real bargain after having seen him at Girona.

With Nico Paz (9) and Miguel Gutiérrez (8), Real Madrid secures two players for the present and future for only 17 million euros. Florentino wants to recover these pieces, who besides feel the badge. Also, before ending his last term as president, he wants to leave as a legacy one of the best (and most sustainable) squads in history.
