'It's a Scandal.' Edu Aguirre Says What Everyone Thinks: Barça is A...

The analyst on Movistar+ exposed Barça, which has lost nine points in a month and a half.

Edu Aguirre was especially harsh and critical of Barça last night during his appearance on El Chiringuito.

The Movistar+ analyst and pundit on Pedrerol's El Chiringuito didn't hold back in expressing what many think about the current Barça.

He took the opportunity to set Jota Jordi straight about this Barça, which was expected to have a very successful season.

"Barça is a Bluff"

"We're missing the mark with Lamine, who I hope recovers soon," said Edu Aguirre during his appearance on El Chiringuito. "The same with Jota, who blames Lewandowski."

"Lewandowski has scored 16 goals and is 36 years old. They wanted to get rid of him a year ago, then he was the best striker in the world. And now they want to get rid of him again.

"Barça is a bluff and we need to make that clear. Barça, in the last month and a half, is a real bluff. It's a reality check for all those who told us it was the best team in Europe."

"The fact that, in a month and a half, with the league won, as they said, they'velost nine points is a scandal.

"I thought they would fall later because they're young, lacking experience. I thought, when they reach the round of 16 or quarterfinals of the Champions League, around February or March. Being so young, maybe the team would fall.

"We're in December and there's a team that's lost nine points in a month and a half.  Let's see when they face demanding matches in Europe.

"Barça is Not Reliable"

"It's a Barça that's not reliable. Defensively, it's always been on the edge. Flick drew the line, and many of us thought: 'let's see how long it lasts and when they figure it out.'

"And they've already figured it out. It's a Barça that, if you disconnect Lamine—the best—from Lewandowski, it has young people with a lot of drive but not much more."

"It's a reality check, but not for the boys, who play very well and are very good. It's a reality check for the team, for the Barcelona fans, who are eager to cling to something."
