From Real Madrid to PSG! Luis Enrique Pays €90M for Him: Florentino Made a Decision

Paris Saint-Germain wants to strengthen its squad to defend its European throne with a major signing from Madrid

Real Madrid has professionals who are among the best in the world in their respective positions, which means that many clubs in Europe are after them. It's no surprise that PSG has once again set its sights on one of the Madrid stars, this time at the express request of Luis Enrique. After winning the Champions League, the Asturian coach has asked for reinforcements to keep raising the level, aiming to reclaim the title next season.

Don Balón has revealed that, in the last few hours, PSG has made an offer for Rodrygo Goes. In total, by order of Luis Enrique, the offer reaches €90 million ($90 million): a figure to consider after a disappointing campaign. At 24 years old, instead of growing, it seems that the Brazilian has taken a step back in his recent performance: 14 goals and 10 assists in 51 matches.

For a few days now, Rodrygo has already been under Xabi Alonso's orders, trying to convince him to stay at Real Madrid. The forward knows that it's a tough situation, especially after the latest moves, but he's willing to wait. The Brazilian is clear that his future depends on succeeding while wearing Real Madrid's jersey and, despite past rumors, he doesn't see himself at another major club.

In any case, what Rodrygo Goes is certain about is that he's not going to stay where he's not wanted. If Real Madrid opens the door for him, he'll look for a new destination.

Florentino Pérez responds regarding Rodrygo Goes: No to PSG

Even though the offer is considerably good, the same report has highlighted that Florentino Pérez has referred to his release clause. The relationship with PSG is very bad and there won't be any negotiations for a sale, no matter how good it might be.

Rodrygo Goes has a contract with the Merengue side until June 30, 2028, for three more seasons. He has a clause that makes him untouchable: €1 trillion ($1 trillion). Even though there have been doubts about it, at this moment it's expected that he'll continue for another campaign at Santiago Bernabéu.

The only thing that could change this decision is an improved offer from Luis Enrique's side, or if Rodrygo Goes himself asked to leave. So far, this hasn't happened... Nor does it seem likely to happen in the near future.
