Florentino Pérez Receives the Bad News — A Hard Blow for Madrid: ‘Endrick is Leaving’

The departure of the Brazilian forward is confirmed, and he will have to leave Real Madrid in the coming days

Nobody expected it at Real Madrid, but Endrick will have to leave, although it will be temporarily. It has been confirmed recently that Neymar will not wear the Brazil national team jersey  due to his recent physical problems, leaving an open spot in the squad. This will be filled by the Madrid forward, who has already informed Florentino Pérez of the situation.

Unexpectedly, Endrick will have to head to Brazil to play the two qualifying matches against Colombia and Argentina for the next World Cup. This means that, during the next break, the young player will have to leave the white discipline to join the Seleção... causing him a strain that was not expected at Real Madrid.

So far, Endrick has played 28 matches in his first season with Real Madrid. It seems like a large number on paper, but the reality is that he has been on the field for a total of 496 minutes.  On average, it's around 17 minutes per match, a low playing time for a player who is still held in high regard in Brazil.

Endrick, Real Madrid and the rumors about a possible departure

The young promise has caught the attention of several European clubs interested in giving him more minutes and responsibility.  In every appearance with Real Madrid, he demonstrates his potential. Despite his young age, many believe he is ready to take another step and that he should continue learning with the Madrid team.

Recently, a Premier League team has approached the Bernabéu offices with a clear proposal. They want Endrick to offer him an ambitious project in England, where many continue to develop in the world of soccer. This option could accelerate his development and give him top-level experience.

Despite the insistence, Real Madrid has already made a decision. They do not contemplate letting Endrick leave, not even temporarily.  Madrid believes his place is in the Spanish capital, at least for now.

Endrick, a 'problem' for Ancelotti

Despite earning more minutes through good performances when given opportunities, Ancelotti doesn't seem to trust him. The coach is aware of his potential, but he doesn't want to change the dynamics in Real Madrid's forward line. Endrick continues to grow and will keep doing so at Santiago Bernabéu, from where he continues to attract the attention of the Brazil national team.
