Florentino Pérez is not wasting time planning Real Madrid's team for the next season. Over the past few years, the club has been accumulating options regarding the future of several players who left the club at a young age. This is the case of Take Kubo, whose clause is 60 million euros and the club would receive half of the operation for his departure.
El Nacional found out that Liverpool is interested in signing Take Kubo while Real Sociedad is demanding the full amount of his release clause and doesn't intend to negotiate this transfer. Florentino Pérez, aware of the potential operation, would be delighted with this possibility and has ruled out bringing the Japanese player back. He is not in the plans, and any team has the green light to take him.
If Liverpool ends up paying Take Kubo's clause, Real Madrid would receive half of the operation. This would mean that the white team would receive, without needing to lift a finger, 30 million euros.
Take Kubo: Real Madrid's Green Light for His Departure
In negotiating his sale, Real Madrid reserved the possibility of having a preferential right to bring him back. If Liverpool pays his clause or reaches an agreement for his transfer, Florentino will have to decide whether to match the offer or not. However, the decision is already more than made.
Florentino has no intention of bringing the Japanese player back and only thinks about earning money from a future sale of his. However, for now, nothing is clear because Liverpool doesn't intend to make a significant expenditure for Take Kubo. It seems that, for now, they are not approaching those 60 million euros, and the operation would have to wait until next summer.
Florentino Pérez, Future Decided at Real Madrid
Florentino Pérez has his continuity as president of Real Madrid guaranteed, at least until the year 2029. A few days ago, elections for the presidency of the white club were called, which ended with only one candidate. Everyone knew that absolutely no one could unseat him, to the point that he had no competition in this reelection.
Real Madrid could not have a better president and we are not the ones saying it, as the data speaks for itself. During his years in office, the Merengues have accumulated a total of 65 titles: 36 are from the football section, thus surpassing Santiago Bernabéu. The next challenge he faces is clear and leaves no room for doubt: founding the Super League, led by Madrid.
Florentino Pérez will remain in office until 2029 and will decide afterward. This could be his last term as president of Real Madrid, turning 78 on the upcoming March 8.
