Florentino Pérez Gives the Order: Sold for 20 Million — He Now Returns to Real Madrid

Madrid needs to make a major signing for the defense and has considered the return of a former player.

There Will Be Significant Changes in the Real Madrid After Everything That Has Happened with Davies. The Canadian decided to reject Florentino Pérez's proposal and has ended up renewing with Bayern, with a salary of 20 million per season. The white team was not going to reach these figures, and it is time to move on, with the president pointing out who his next target will be: Theo Hernández.

In 2019, Florentino made the decision to sell Theo Hernández to Milan for 22.8 million euros. 6 years later, he considers that he made a mistake, and it is time to bring him back, although he knows it will require payment. He is 27 years old and is considered one of the best left-backs in the world, being a name that is very appealing to strengthen the weakened position.

Florentino Pérez is aware that Theo Hernández would be willing to leave Milan to return to Real Madrid, but not at any price. The Frenchman, whose contract ends in 2026, wants a long-term deal, being in the middle range of the salary scale. In this regard, the Italian team is willing to sell him if they can't renew him, and they have set a price of 40 'kilos'.

Thus, Florentino already knows firsthand what to do if he wants to bring Theo Hernández back to Real Madrid. He will have to pay approximately double the money for which he sold him years ago.

Alphonso Davies: The Reason for Not Signing with Real Madrid

To continue at Bayern, Alphonso Davies has accepted a salary of 20 million euros per season. This is precisely the request he made to Madrid to reject his renewal and change destinations.  Florentino's reply was clear and forceful though: "No way." He refused to enter a bidding war at all times and decided to step away from the negotiation.

As soon as Davies demanded so much money, Florentino made the decision to step aside, facilitating his renewal with Bayern. There was a verbal agreement reached months ago that had to be maintained and ratified in writing starting in January. However, the Canadian and his entourage didn't keep their word, asking for more money at the last moment to leave Munich.

In this regard, Madrid-Barcelona has learned that Florentino made a last attempt for Alphonso Davies, maintaining the same salary that had been agreed upon. However, his representative replied negatively, prioritizing the millions agreed with the German club.

Nevertheless, his moment has passed, and the next priority target for the left flank is Theo Hernández from Milan.
