Florentino Negotiates the Return of the Prodigal Son. Ancelotti Gives the OK and Mbappé Applauds

Florentino Pérez has the opportunity to correct a historic mistake with a player who should never have left Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is keeping an eye on all market movements to strengthen its team in the winter market, especially in its defensive line.

The two priority targets for the full-back positions are the Canadian from Bayern, Alphonso Davies, and the Englishman from Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

However, both transfers are hanging by a thread. Both Bayern and Liverpool are making a financial effort to keep them in their teams.

Florentino Pérez fears that ultimately money might steer them away from their idea of transfer for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is covering its back by scouting the market for alternative players capable of playing under Carlo Ancelotti's orders. The Italian coach has been consulted and has given his blessing to the return of a prodigal son.

This is Theo Hernández, the French full-back of Spanish origin trained in Atlético de Madrid's youth academy. Hernández even debuted with the first team of Real Madrid.

Theo Hernández has become one of the best full-backs in the world playing for Milan, to the point of being a regular in the French national team.

Mbappé Would be Happy with His Transfer

This is a strategic transfer that would make Mbappé happy by sharing the left flank of Real Madrid. Theo Hernández's contract with Milan ends in 2026 and he hasn't reached an agreement with the club for his renewal.

Ancelotti has lost confidence in Mendy, mainly due to injuries, which prevent him from playing regularly.

Contacts have already been made with Theo Hernández, who has shown his desire and willingness to wear Real Madrid's white jersey again.

Theo is a thorn in Florentino Pérez's side. Real Madrid had, years ago, two of the best full-backs in the world: Achraf Hakimi, now at PSG, and Theo Hernández.

The Moroccan succeeded at Borussia Dortmund, then at Inter, and now at PSG. The Frenchman has become one of the most prominent figures in the Italian League.

Now the white president has the opportunity to rectify the mistake with Theo Hernández. The French full-back could join immediately by including a loaned player, like Endrick or Arda Güler, in the operation to reduce the cost.
