The next Club World Cup has a lot of money at stake for the winner.

The Real Madrid faces the most overloaded schedule in its history, but also the possibility of earning a lot, a lot of money. This season it is competing for multiple titles, but it won't end with a hypothetical Champions League final. FIFA has completely changed the Club World Cup, adding more participants and also a much more lucrative prize.

For the revamped Club World Cup, FIFA will distribute 1 billion euros among the 32 participants of the tournament. It will be held before the current season concludes, in June, in the United States. Florentino Pérez already knows how this bounty will be distributed and is rubbing his hands, as the winner could take home about 100 million, which would be very well received.

100 Million for the Club World Cup Winner

Florentino is clear: the main objective of the season has to be winning the Club World Cup. It is the tournament that distributes the largest bounty for its winner and, moreover, its format has completely changed. In this new format, Real Madrid wants to continue making history by being crowned its first champion.

To achieve this, it will have to overcome high-level teams. Starting with the group stage, where it will face Al-Hilal, Pachuca, and Salzburg

In other groups there are clubs like PSG, Atlético, Bayern, Inter, or Manchester City. In addition to the major teams from other continents, such as River Plate, Boca Juniors, Palmeiras, or Flamengo.

Real Madrid, as always, is competing for all possible trophies and it won't be an easy season. The revamped Club World Cup will be held in the summer and the players' rest will be minimal, as the new competition will start in August.
