Florentino Beats Laporta and Completes Transfer: To Join Real Madrid in January

Florentino is convinced that the agent is using Barça and Bayern to get more money from him.

Florentino has had enough. He doesn't want to extend the mystery and has decided to get ahead of events: The player will join a Real Madrid player in January.

Florentino Pérez has agreed to the arrival of Bayern Munich's Canadian full-back, Alphonso Davies, in June and at no cost.

Davies's Agent Plays with Barça

There's still a long way to go until June, however. Davis's agent Nedal Huoseh is playing his cards to get more money from Real Madrid. And Florentino is not up for questionable negotiations.

Huoseh has told Fabrizio Romano that Davies's move to Real Madrid is not a cloased deal and that he has other options open.

One of them is Barça. According to what Real Madrid has learned, Hansi Flick may have contacted the player. The aim would be to change his mind and direct him toward Camp Nou.

There has also been a rumor in the last few hours that Bayern could have improved its last offer to the player to avoid his departure next summer. 12 million euros net per season would be the offer from the Bavarian club.

Florentino Puts an end to the Story

However, the information handled by the Real Madrid management points in the same direction. Davies's agent is on the move to get more money from Real Madrid.

"Are you asking me if the deal with Real Madrid has already been closed? That's not true," the agent explains to Fabrizio Romano.

He also added that “the player has many options” and “we haven't reached an agreement with any club. A new contract with FC Bayern could also be an option. Any information suggesting otherwise is incorrect.”

Florentino has decided to put an end to the story. He will wait up to January 2 to sign the contract with the player, within the terms set by law.

The Memory of Leny Yoro

The document is already drafted and the player has a copy waiting to be signed.

The white president doesn't want to repeat the experience with Leny Yoro.  He was committed to Real Madrid last summer and ended up leaving for Manchester United. Madrid didn't want to enter into auctions and ended up losing the player.

In this case, Real Madrid will secure Davies's arrival by signing the contract that will unite them in the future as soon as the law allows it, on January 2nd.

Anything else is fiction created by an agent eager to get more money out of his client's decision. Davies doesn't want to play for any other team than Real Madrid.
