COPE Announces Florentino's First Decision After Madrid-Arsenal: 'Signed'

Florentino Pérez has definitively closed the first signing for next season for Real Madrid

Real Madrid didn't expect to have a season like this when the planning was done last summer.  Florentino is very disappointed and is preparing many changes for the next season, both in terms of signings and departures. After the match against Arsenal, it has become clear that decisions need to be made, and they have already started to take place.

COPE Announces Real Madrid's First Signing

Melchor Ruiz, a journalist from COPE, has revealed that Madrid already has its first addition secured for the next season. We are talking about  Alexander-Arnold, a Liverpool right-back who will arrive completely free when his contract ends on June 30. "He's signed" and will compete directly with Dani Carvajal for the starting position at right-back.

The idea also includes signing a starter for the left wing, having attempted to sign Alphonso Davies a few months ago. On the table is also the idea of signing another center-back and a top-level midfielder. As for the attacking positions, according to COPE, everything will depend on whether there is any departure, something that is not currently being considered.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the best right-backs in the world. His ability to distribute the ball, his vision of the game, and his presence in attack have allowed him to stand out in the Premier League and international competitions.

Since his debut at Anfield, he has become a key piece in defense and a great offensive asset. At Madrid, he is expected to contribute his talent both in defense and in playmaking, an essential aspect of Madrid's playing style.

The English right-back has been a key piece in the English club's successes in recent years, including Champions League and Premier League titles. His ability to generate assists and actively participate in the offensive game has earned him a reputation as one of the best in his position. Now, Real Madrid seeks to leverage those qualities to strengthen their right wing and continue with their goal of dominating Europe.

His salary will be about 15 million euros gross per season, reflecting the importance Florentino places on the move. Additionally, the player will receive a significant bonus, completing a very attractive financial package. Alexander-Arnold is delighted and eager to debut at Santiago Bernabéu.
