Real Madrid has many issues to solve when its stay in the United States ends. Beyond possible signings, it's also key to know what will happen with certain players. Many of them aren't part of Xabi Alonso's plans for one reason or another and need to leave. In this regard, Getafe remains alert to what may happen, with José Bordalás interested in two specific footballers.
Getafe wants to fish in Real Madrid
There has been much talk about a possible move for Gonzalo García to Getafe, but his breakout at the Club World Cup (Mundial de Clubes) has changed everything. He has a contract until 2027 and, far from leaving, he's expected to renew to stay much longer. He has convinced the Tolosa native and this possible deal has fallen through, with Bordalás focusing his efforts on two other academy players.
This was revealed by Getafe's president himself, Ángel Torres, when asked about it at a club event. He put forward the names of two academy players who may pack their bags for the Coliseum in the coming weeks.
"Víctor Muñoz may come, he's committed. The other matter is now when they return from the Club World Cup (Mundialito)... Well, he hasn't made his debut. I hope one of them comes. Mario Martín is one who may have a deal already closed, but we have to wait until the World Cup ends and for the boy and Real Madrid to decide," Ángel Torres stated publicly.

Different cases
We're talking about two completely different situations, although they may end up having the same outcome.
Víctor Muñoz made his debut this past season with Real Madrid and has played up to 13 min. (13 minutes) at the Club World Cup (Mundial). He's a fast winger, with a contract until 2026. He offers qualities that few footballers have, but he needs playing time and Primera Federación is too small for him. Both wings are very crowded in the first team, and the idea would be to look for a loan after renewing his contract.
In the case of Mario Martín, he's the same age and has the same contract as his teammate. However, he has already had a loan season away from Santiago Bernabéu, playing at Valladolid. The idea being considered, according to sources cited by Madrid-Barcelona, is a transfer with a buy-back option in case he does well there.

The two deals between Real Madrid and Getafe may end up happening, but they're subject to Xabi Alonso's final "ok". He won't focus on the market until the Club World Cup ends. Bordalás, meanwhile, keeps waiting.
