Raúl Asencio is still awaiting a judicial matter that could jeopardize his continuity at Real Madrid. In recent hours, it has been discovered that this complicated case could take a U-turn after an agreement reached by his lawyer, Alfonso Morales Camprubí.
The information currently emerging indicates that Raúl Asencio's lawyer may have reached an agreement with the victims who were recorded in the south of Gran Canaria having sex with youth players from Real Madrid. With this, the aim is to reduce the criminal responsibility of the Canary Islands center-back in the events described.

This would be related to the violation of privacy, as set out in Article 197 of the Penal Code.
Raúl Asencio, who played a "passive" role in the events (he neither recorded nor had sexual relations), would face a sentence of one to three months of fines. Meanwhile, the prosecution is requesting four years in prison for the center-back from Real Madrid for "disclosure of secrets and child pornography." It is important to remember that one of the affected individuals was a minor.
Raúl Asencio will not leave the case
Despite this agreement, the Public Prosecutor's Office doesn't intend to remove Raúl Asencio from the criminal proceedings. "Canarias7" has reported that the Prosecutor's Office is studying "the type of crime for which they will draft the indictment." The idea is clear: despite that agreement, the Canary Islands center-back will go to trial "along with the rest of the footballers under investigation".
Real Madrid is closely following this case and is even participating in a clear manner. Asencio's lawyer is also on the payroll of the white club.
