Arda Güler isn't going through his best moment at Real Madrid. The Turkish gem, who arrived with the label of a future star, has spent most of the season in the shadows.
Between injuries and strong competition, he has barely had opportunities with Carlo Ancelotti. However, far from giving up, the young attacking midfielder has sent a strong message.
After shining with Türkiye in the victory against Hungary (0-3), Arda Güler made it clear that he still believes in his future at Madrid. In an interview with Marca, he stated: "Madrid gave me a plan and I still believe in it, I'm sure I'll succeed at Madrid." A direct warning to the management and the coaching staff, he doesn't plan to give up.

A Wasted Talent
Meanwhile, he is a reference with Türkiye, his prominence at Madrid is almost anecdotal. Ancelotti has only given him the starting position in six league matches and one Champions League match. A very different role from what he expected when he signed for the white club.
However, Güler doesn't lose patience. He continues working silently and waits for his moment. "I work very hard and I'm always ready to play," he stated after the match with his national team.
His performance with Türkiye shows that he has plenty of quality. What he lacks is confidence and minutes. Something that, so far, he hasn't found at Madrid.
A Warning for the Future
Beyond his current situation, Güler remains committed to the club. He has taken a further step in his life in Madrid by buying a house in the capital. A gesture that shows he has no intention of giving up or seeking a quick exit.
But he also made it clear that he isn't satisfied with his current role. "I came to Real Madrid to play and be an important piece. And I'm not going to stop fighting until I achieve it," he declared.
A message that sounds like a warning. Not only for Ancelotti but also for Florentino Pérez. Güler wants to show that he has a place in this team and if Madrid doesn't give him opportunities, he won't hesitate to find his path.
His talent isn't in doubt. What is missing is for him to be given the confidence he needs to excel. Time will tell if he achieves it at Bernabéu or if his story at the white club ends sooner than desired.
