Andriy Lunin is living his last months as a player for Real Madrid. The Ukrainian is very upset with Ancelotti, after the coach has decided that Courtois will be the starter in the Copa final against FC Barcelona... despite Lunin being the chosen goalkeeper in all previous rounds of the tournament.
The goalkeeper's anger is total, as Madrid-Barcelona could learn. After a year of reliably covering for Courtois's injury absence, and after having delivered great performances, Lunin expected, at the very least, to be the starter in the Copa final. Something that will not end up happening, once again.

Ancelotti has made a drastic decision: Courtois, who hasn't played a single minute in this competition, will be the starter at La Cartuja. The Italian coach argues that the Belgian is his number one and that, if he is fit, he must play the most important matches.
This choice has been the final trigger for Lunin, who had already shown doubts about his continuity beyond the summer. With a contract until 2030, the Ukrainian doesn't want to continue being a substitute and believes he has proven to have enough level to be a starter in a great European team. His entourage is already working on an exit, and there is no shortage of offers in Italy and, especially, the Premier League.
In the white locker room, this has been surprising, although they understand that Courtois is a club legend. Even so, several teammates support Lunin, who has been an example of professionalism throughout the season. He had even accepted a minor role like this season's, but this choice by Carletto has changed everything: he is fed up... and will leave in the summer.
Andriy Lunin is Closely Followed by Giants
Both Bayern Munich and Manchester City have shown real interest in the goalkeeper. Both clubs are looking for a modern profile, a goalkeeper with good footwork and security under the posts. And Andriy Lunin fits perfectly.

Conversations with his entourage have already begun. Nothing is closed yet, but the interest is firm. And most importantly: the economic and sporting conditions they offer are more than attractive.
So far, Lunin has preferred not to comment. He will wait until the end of the season to make it public, but this has been the straw that breaks the camel's back. In the coming months, he will analyze all the proposals and decide where to play, but one thing is clear: it will be far from Real Madrid.
