Ancelotti Finds a Way Out: He Already Has Plan B in Case Florentino Kicks Him Out

Eduardo Inda announces that Brazil has once again approached Ancelotti by offering him the canarinha bench

In Brazil, they are keeping an eye on what happens in Madrid after Barça's 4-0 and Milan's 3-1. They are thinking again about Carlo Ancelotti to take charge of the canarinha.

Brazil failed in the World Cup, failed atCopa America and is failing in the World Cup qualifying phase.

The Canarinha is in fourth place, five points behind Argentina, with 5 wins and 4 losses. This is not what is expected of the national team.

They are looking for solutions. After Tite left, Dorival arrived on an interim basis. Right now he remains in his post awaiting the arrival of a serious coach.

Brazil Contacts Ancelotti Again

Brazil has tried with Pep Guardiola and also with Carlo Ancelotti. It was very difficult to get the Italian out of Real Madrid while he won Champions Leagues and Ligas. Now the situation may change.

News has reached Brazil about the possible replacement of Ancelotti at Bernabéu. The names of Solari, Zidane, Xabi Alonso, Raúl and Arbeloa are known as candidates.

Contacts have been resumed with Ancelotti in case he might leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and take over at Canarinha.

This is what Eduardo Inda explained in El Chiringuito: "I'm told that the CBF has touched Carlo Ancelotti again. They see him weakened at Real Madrid."

He added: "I think next summer could be the end of his brilliant time. He's won three Champions Leagues with Madrid and nobody believes in the current Brazilian coach."

The end of Ancelotti's Era

"There's Guardiola, who is more complicated, and there's Ancelotti, who has been reached," he says.

Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until 2026. However, both parties are willing to accept the decision to terminate it whenever one of them wishes.

The Italian coach, meanwhile, is aware that his time at Real Madrid can't last forever and it could come to an end next summer if results are not as expected.

In fact, according to Inda, there are many within Real Madrid who think that his era has already ended.

Brazil contacted Ancelotti in January 2023, after the World Cup in Qatar, where Brazil was eliminated by Croatia in the quarter-finals. Ancelotti was having problems in La Liga against Xavi's Barça and was beginning to question his continuity at Bernabéu.

Ancelotti Says Yes to Brazil in 2023

So, according to Inda, Ancelotti gave his approval to Brazil, but on the condition that Real Madrid terminate his contract.

The then president of the Brazilian Football Confederation Ednaldo Rodrigues, went so far as to say: "For us, Ancelotti is not a dream, he is a reality." He also hinted that Ancelotti would lead Brazil at Copa América.

But the subsequent double title of La Liga and Champions League broke the Brazilian dream and Ancelotti renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2026.

However, Brazil has never given up and is expecting Ancelotti by 2026 or before, if possible.

For Ancelotti, Brazil is nothing more than plan B. Interesting, but plan B. His objective is to extend his stay at Madrid as long as possible. Now, if it doesn't work out, as has already happened once, he has a prestigious option waiting for him.

Brazil will keep Dorival Junior on the bench as an interim; he isn't a bet for the future. Dorival would jump in as soon as Ancelotti is available.
