Ancelotti Is Fed up With His Surroundings. Arda Güler, Sentenced and With 2 Offers to Leave

Real Madrid's coach believes that Güler's entourage exerts a bad influence on him.

Carlo Ancelotti is fed up with the situation. He doesn't doubt Arda Güler's quality, but he is tired of the tension that his lack of minutes brings to the group's harmony. And Arda Güler has had enough.

Ancelotti's Message to Güler's Surroundings

Ancelotti made it very clear in this morning's press conference. Real Madrid is the best team in the world, and it's very difficult for young players to find a place in it.

Regarding Güler specifically, he added: "All players who have doubts can come to my office. I regularly talk with Güler and Endrick...

...I see there's a case, but it hasn't reached here. They want to play, but they are young and have a process ahead of them, just like Rodrygo, Vinícius, or Valverde did...

...Güler needs time to adapt to the best squad in the world. I think everyone understands it, and those who don't, need to understand it."

A Bad Influence?

Ancelotti also took a shot at the young Turkish promise's surroundings. The coach is aware that the people around him fill his head, and they are not always a good influence.

"I'm with the young players every day, every day. One day they seem happier than others, but I don't want to see a player happy when he doesn't play. I want to see them work, learn, and want to play...

...I spend a small part of the time with Güler. And he spends a lot of time with other people. And I don't know if they have the same idea I want to have with him so he can play as soon as possible at Real Madrid."

A direct reference to that environment of Güler that Ancelotti doesn't like at all, who already proposed to the club in the winter market to loan the player.

Two European Giants Willing to Negotiate His Transfer

But now it's Güler himself who plans to go to the president to request his departure from the club. PSG and Bayern Munich are willing to double what Florentino paid for him two years ago.

It was 20 million fixed and 10 in variables. Güler has already been informed that either of them would pay 60 million euros.

Güler turns 20 today. And he feels like he's wasting his time. Meanwhile, he is amazed to see Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal at 17 with two years of experience as starters at Barcelona.

It's not easy to cope with the situation without ceasing to feel part of the squad. Ancelotti has left him with zero minutes in six of the last seven matches.

He Played More When He Was a Year Younger

Güler is concerned that he hasn't played in the last four matches, and in three of them, the white team didn't win. He no longer serves even as a game-changer. He prefers Brahim, whom he sees as more mentally prepared.

Ancelotti reproaches Endrick for not working hard enough in training. And he considers that Güler is carried away by his mood. And he doesn't show him in the sessions that he's ready to play.

Curiously, last year he was younger, and Güler played much more. He scored 6 goals in 442 minutes, with a record of one goal every 74 minutes. He was on a roll.

But what was supposed to be his breakthrough season has turned into a nightmare. To date, he has 3 goals and 5 assists in 967 minutes. That is, he participates in a goal every 121 minutes.
