Héctor Fort Gets a €10M Offer and Barça Responds: This Will be His Next Team

Héctor Fort's future is starting to become clear after a season without much participation

At 18 years old, Héctor Fort hasn't managed to have much participation this season with FC Barcelona. The youth player has only played 638 minutes spread over 20 matches, mostly in the final phase of the season. Despite this, the decision about his future is clear: he will continue to be under Hansi Flick's orders next season, something that Jijantes has confirmed.

Fort's entourage knows firsthand that he is counted on, and as of today, the idea is for him to stay despite the proposals that have arrived. The German coach, although he hasn't given him much participation, is "happy" with him and believes he can perfectly develop his qualities.

Barça rejects 10 million for Héctor Fort

Despite his limited participation, half of Europe has shown interest in Héctor Fort. Madrid-Barcelona has been reporting recently that Valencia was seeking his loan. Now, this same outlet is in a position to state that Como had put an important proposal valued at 10 million euros on FC Barcelona's table.

Between fixed and variable amounts, Barça could have received those 10 "rocks" for the youth player, but the offer has been rejected. The reason is clear: Flick trusts his development and hopes to give him more minutes next season. Deco's desire is to renew his contract, which ends on June 30, 2026. The Catalan defender wants to continue at the club of his dreams, and no problems are expected during the negotiations for his long-term continuity.

Héctor Fort saves millions for Barça

FC Barcelona has already made a clear decision regarding its sports planning for the 2025-26 season: there will be no signing of a right-back. Despite names like Andrei Ratiu (Rayo Vallecano) or Vanderson (Monaco) being on the blaugrana agenda... Finally, an internal solution has been chosen to reinforce other priority positions.

The club fully trusts the players already part of the squad. Jules Koundé, who has shown reliability in that position, will be the main candidate to occupy the right flank. He will be joined by Héctor Fort, one of the great promises of the youth academy who has left a good impression in his appearances with the first team... And an Eric García who will also be converted to that side due to his tactical ability and versatility.

Hansi Flick has already given the green light to this decision, convinced that it is not necessary to go to the market to cover the right-back position. With this commitment to youth and versatility, FC Barcelona seeks to keep the economic balance while continuing its policy of trust in La Masia.
