Surprise, he's leaving before Ansu Fati: Barça close their first sale, he's heading to Italy

Deco is already working to lighten the wage bill and has finalized the departure of a player ruled out by Hansi Flick

Barcelona are making moves before the market officially opens to try to complete several deals. The directive, as in recent transfer windows, is clear: let players leave before bringing new ones in. This is what Deco has been working on for some time. All rumors currently point to Ansu Fati, who seems set to leave on loan to Monaco... but it appears there will be another departure first.

We are talking about Álex Valle, a Barça youth academy product who spent this past season on loan between Celtic and Como. He is set to become a new player for Como in the coming hours: everything is finalized with the Italian team. Cesc Fàbregas's side will pay €6 million (6 million euros) to secure the La Masia left-back on a permanent basis, and he will sign a contract there until 2029.

In this regard, and in line with the information first revealed by Jijantes, Madrid-Barcelona has been able to confirm that this €6 million (6 million euros) will be paid in two installments. The first, immediate payment will be €4 million (4 million euros). Meanwhile, the second and final payment, the remaining €2 million (2 million euros), will be paid in 2026.

Álex Valle heads to Italy: Como target La Masia

Álex Valle is bringing his time at Barcelona to an end to begin a new adventure in Italy. The young left-back, who is 21 years old, has convinced Cesc Fàbregas after his loan spell at Como... where he has played 15 matches since last January with a very solid performance. The Spanish coach has been key in executing his permanent signing.

Barça have decided not to keep Álex Valle for the future. They have not kept any kind of buy-back clause or preferential rights over the player, which means a complete separation. This decision has come as a surprise, since the footballer has shown development and maturity during his time in Serie A.

Álex Valle stands out for his good tactical awareness, speed in tracking back, and ability to join the attack. He has a precise left foot, is disciplined in defense, and knows how to read spaces well. At 21 years old, he still has room for improvement, and Cesc is convinced he can be important in Como's project in Serie A.

With this departure, Álex Valle closes one chapter and opens another full of opportunities in Italian soccer. Como also want to keep their good relationship with Barça and are already scouting other La Masia products. Fàbregas offers a place there to grow at the highest level.
