Surprise on el Chiringuito, Jota Jordi Doesn't Want Messi at Barça: 'I'd Sign...'

The panelist surprises with his statements, completely refusing the possible return of Leo Messi to FC Barcelona.

In recent weeks, there have been surprising reports related to possible returns to Barça. We are talking about the hypothetical comebacks of Messi and Neymar, which have left absolutely no one indifferent. Jota Jordi referred to this matter in the latest episode of El Chiringuito... making his opinion clear and surprising with his words.

Jota Jordi hasn't held back, completely rejecting a return of Messi to Barcelona. The main obstacle he points out is his age, with the Argentine already being 37 years old. In a hypothetical return, he would be 38, having been in a less competitive context like the United States in recent times.

Jota Jordi has been blunt, causing surprise in El Chiringuito: "Let's see how Neymar competes now in Brazil, but at 33 years old, if he were in good shape, yes. I already see Messi as a player who isn't fit to compete in a league like the Spanish one, due to age. Since he left Barça, I haven't seen him, nor Neymar either."

Messi, Impossible Return to Barça

Despite the reports coming from Argentina, the reality is that neither party is interested in reuniting. The next step for Leo Messi will be to renew in Miami, where he feels comfortable and they have prepared a team full of former teammates and friends, including on the bench.

Since he left, Messi has been clear that he won't return to Barça while Laporta is in the box. The relationship was severely damaged as a result of his departure, and they haven't spoken since then. At most, he would consider playing one last match at Camp Nou, but wearing the Inter Miami jersey. He doesn't want to give that satisfaction to the president who, as he understands it, forced his departure.

While Messi's return is seen as impossible at Barça, the reality is that Neymar is indeed on the table. At his recently turned 33 years old, he believes he still has a lot of soccer left and that he owes something to the culer club. He is now at Santos, regaining his form and fitness after a long injury, but his contract expires next June 30.

In this scenario, Neymar, through his entourage, has offered his return to Barça under very favorable economic conditions. While he doesn't see Messi in the blaugrana colors again, Jota Jordi considers the Brazilian a better option.
