Robert Lewandowski Finds Out the Latest: €70 Million and He Will Play for Barça, KO

FC Barcelona continues to scour the market in search of the '9' of the future: Deco finds the ideal one at a good price

Barça Has Set Their Sights on Benjamin Sesko, a 21-year-old Slovenian forward who plays for Leipzig, as a possible reinforcement for their attack. According to Sky Sports,  several Premier League clubs have shown interest in the player, whose departure could be activated this summer.

Benjamin Sesko, who joined Leipzig in 2023 from Red Bull Salzburg, has proven to be a promising forward, with a height of 6 ft. 5 in. (1.95 meters) and a notable goal-scoring ability. Benjamin Sesko, the Ideal Replacement for Robert Lewandowski

Leipzig, aware of their player's potential, has set his price at around 70 million, according to recent information from Metro. Although FC Barcelona is interested in Sesko, their current financial situation could complicate an operation of such magnitude. The Catalan club has been searching for a forward who can be the successor to Robert Lewandowski, and Sesko fits that profile.

However, the competition is fierce. Arsenal has intensified their efforts to sign the forward and would be preparing an offer of approximately those 70 million euros to secure his incorporation. This figure could be difficult for Barcelona to match, given their budgetary constraints.

In short, although Barça has shown interest in Benjamin Sesko as a reinforcement for their forward line, the competition from Premier League clubs and the financial restrictions of the Catalan club could complicate his signing. The outcome will depend on negotiations and Barcelona's ability to adjust their budget.

Despite turning 37 in the coming months, he is completing an amazing season, with 40 goals in 47 matches. No one doubts him, but the reality is that it is a matter that the sports management led by Deco wants to solve.

Madrid-Barcelona has learned that  Benjamin Sesko is a name that is liked, but doesn't fully generate consensus. He is one of the finalists for the position and his price makes him a very interesting forward, although it will be necessary to wait...
