Jota Jordi’s Reaction to Barça 1-0 Alavés: ‘What a Weekend…’

El colaborador de El Chiringuito speaks clearly after FC Barcelona's victory and Real Madrid's defeat.

Barça has managed to earn three points in the 22nd round of LaLiga after narrowly defeating Alavés, 1-0. A solitary goal by Lewandowski was enough to win this challenging match and get closer to Real Madrid at the top of the competition. After the match, Jota Jordi spoke on his X account, leaving a clear reaction after everything that happened.

Jota Jordi bluntly said "What a beautiful weekend it has turned out to be". The truth is that the El Chiringuito collaborator is not wrong: Real Madrid's defeat and Barça's victory. These results make LaLiga exciting again, with a four-point gap between both opponents, while Atlético is one point behind their major rivals.

Jota Jordi couldn't be happier after everything that has happened. At Real Madrid, they were very confident about the course of the competition, but time puts everyone in their place, and nothing is guaranteed. Ancelotti's team doesn't have an easy schedule ahead, having to play against Leganés (Copa), Atlético, City (Champions), Osasuna, and City (Champions).

Barça should take advantage of this. They can rest in the continental competition, having already done their homework and being more than qualified for the round of 16.

Barça 1-0 Alavés: this is how the LaLiga match went

This match against Alavés was a battle of grinding and seeking opportunities where they seemed impossible to find. From the very beginning, the babazorro team was wasting time, proposing absolutely nothing, and sitting back, going hard on tackles. They took advantage of the referee's permissiveness at Montjuïc, allowing Coudet's team to play hard throughout the match.

It wasn't until the 61st minute that Barça managed to take the lead in the scoreboard of this tough match. Thanks to Lewandowski, the culers managed to earn the three points despite the visible difficulties posed by Alavés.

After a very low-level first half, Hansi Flick was forced to make changes at halftime, bringing on Eric and De Jong for Araújo and Casadó. The substitutions were positive, showing a better image in the second half.

The important thing for Barça is clear: to win on a weekend when Real Madrid surprisingly stumbled. La Liga is still in contention, and Jota Jordi is rubbing his hands, like all the culers.
