The newspaper Marca, one of the closest media outlets to Florentino Pérez, has surprised with a very curious request.
Jesús Sánchez, one of Marca's main columnists, asks Florentino Pérez "to work his magic and sign Dani Olmo," as if his transfer were a matter limited to magicians.
The Single-Thought Philosophy Extends from Madrid to All of Spain
However, it is well known that Florentino Pérez is considered a superior being in Madrid. Anything he does or can do reaches the category of magic.
"If the international can't continue at Barça, he would be a fantastic winter transfer for Madrid and a direct punch to the blue and garnet chin, which has been fragile lately."
This is the request of the columnist, who, from the capital of Spain, tries to shape the sporting spirit of all Spaniards. Always in accordance with the single thought of sociological madridism, naturally.
"If Dani Olmo ultimately can't continue as a blaugrana because Laporta can't register him, he should be signed," says the author. He adds: "Olmo would be a fantastic addition to Ancelotti's team."
Real Madrid is Not Part of the Recent History of the National Team
The newspaper Marca can't wait for the Olmo issue to die a natural death. They are in a hurry. They need Florentino to act as soon as possible to rectify a serious management error that is de-Spanishizing Real Madrid.
The columnist who directs his prayers to Florentino Pérez has no choice but to admit the quality of Barça's latest great transfer.
He urges his president to rescue him. That way he can see the true light, the only one, which only shines at Bernabéu, without "Santiago".
"Olmo has years ahead with a lot of soccer. He has goals, manages the final pass (and there aren't many assistants of his caliber in the white team)," he says.
"Every Draft is a Drama for Madridism"
"And he plays for the national team, which doesn't hurt Madrid. The club seeks representation in a national team that is already making history and can do more."
He only needs to add that Real Madrid is missing out. It doesn't belong to that history due to the obsession of those who manage it to cover spaces belonging to locals with foreign legionnaires.
This hurts to formative journalism, hence the need to incorporate players who are sons of the motherland.
The Marca columnist states: "Every draft is a small drama for the heart of a large sector of madridism that shouldn't be ignored."
"The Confirmation of Barça's Miseries"
He revels in the thrill of taking him from Barça, like another Figo. "The transfer would be hard to swallow in Barcelona, the umpteenth confirmation of their miseries." The harder it is to swallow and the more miseries arise, the more Real Madrid seems to need Olmo's transfer.
"It would mean assimilating something that's been happening on and off the field. Madrid can do it and Barça can't."
Florentino Isn't Interested in Another Figo, with the Super League on the Horizon
The columnist doesn't consider why Barça can't register its players, despite its ability to generate income. Nor can others do it with full normality and with less income.
Florentino Pérez, in any case, isn't inclined to Spanishize Real Madrid. Olmo is from Terrassa and isn't of interest.
Like him, there are many in Germany, England, France, Croatia, Türkiye, or Brazil, but none of them are European champions like Olmo.
Moreover, if Florentino wants Laporta on his side in the Super League project, what he can't do is poach his players. Or can he?
