Pedri has replied to the accusations about his alleged disorderly life and his fondness for going out at night. He did so in an interview given to Tu Diràs de RAC1.
"Come to My House"
"When you have many injuries, it psychologically affects you. The criticisms always come, and they start saying that you go partying, that you don't take care of yourself, those things", Pedri said.
He adds: "The only thing you want is to play soccer, and when you can't, it's very complicated."
Pedri settles the matter decisively: "If they want to come to my house and be with me all day, they would get very bored because I don't go out. And it would be very different from what they think of me. When they tell lies, the only thing you can do is work and shut mouths."
Pedri Clarifies Concepts About Xavi
The Canarian midfielder also wanted to clarify his differences with Xavi Hernández: "I have a good relationship with Xavi, it's a lie that I throw darts at him, I have nothing against him."
He specifies that "training differently is not to undermine Xavi. It's true that the team is physically flying. Also, Flick brought that, and that's what has changed".
It is well-born to be grateful, and Pedri wants to take advantage of the double duel with the Netherlands to thank coach Ronald Koeman for the trust he placed in him:
"I'm looking forward to seeing Koeman, he gave me the opportunity and trusted me. I'm very grateful to him, I remember when he called me to his office and told me I was staying with the team. Yes, I was scared, I didn't know if he was going to tell me to go home..."
Barcelona is having an exceptional season, and Pedri doesn't rule out anything: "Why not dream big? We are young and have the ambition to win many titles."
Repeat the 2010 Photo at the Ballon d'Or
He confesses that "I'm missing the Champions League, it would make me very excited, especially because Barça hasn't won it in a long time".

He also makes it clear that the classic wouldn't scare him in the Champions League final. Especially after the 0-4 and 5-2 this season: "You shouldn't be afraid of anyone, and it would mean we're in the final."
He has shown his position regarding the Ballon d'Or, where he is among the favorites: "It's very nice that they value your work, but I prefer to win titles for the club. It's already a dream to be among the nominees".
Pedri knows the excitement it would bring among Barcelona fans to have another photo like the one of Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta in 2010: "I would sign for a blue and garnet podium with Pedri, Lamine, and Raphinha. In any order."
