Last March, the German goalkeeper ended his marriage with Daniela Jehle, a fellow German and the mother of his child. Now, three months later, the German goalkeeper has made it public that he is dating a new woman, the Catalan Ona Sellares.
New partner for Ter Stegen
First, the German posted a story on his account showing his hand intertwined with another. In what appears to be the inside of a car, the photo is accompanied by a message in Catalan: "Junts (together)", along with a red heart. This sparked all the rumors, pointing to a possible reconciliation with Daniela, something that, hours later, was completely ruled out.
In a second Instagram story, Ter Stegen shared the image of a woman sitting in a restaurant. Her identity was initially a mystery, but after a thorough search, several users identified the lucky woman: the Catalan Ona Sellares.

In less than 24 hours, Ona Sellares has gained more than 4,000 followers on her Instagram account. At first, before her relationship with Ter Stegen became public, her profile was private, something that has changed as a result of recent events, making it public.
The new WAG of FC Barcelona describes herself as a "psychopedagogue" and in English she has written: "Be as happy as you look on Instagram".
In 2022, she had an active account on the social network X, then known as Twitter, which has now been deleted. She retweeted several posts with sentimental and mental health content.
Ter Stegen doesn't plan to leave Barça
Amid rumors about a possible departure from FC Barcelona, Ter Stegen has surprised everyone by starting a relationship with a Catalan woman. The captain, under contract until 2028, is clear that he doesn't plan to leave despite the recent signing of Joan García. He is willing to fight for the starting position in a season leading up to the World Cup.
There are still many months ahead and the decision at Barça is more than made, opting for a goalkeeper duo formed by Joan and Szczesny.
