Official! Laporta Scores a Hit: Travis Scott Raises Over €1 Million for Barça

Travis Scott sells out all his T-shirts in record time and fills FC Barcelona's coffers by raising more than €1.5M

Barça has exceeded any type of prediction that could have been made with the release of the Travis Scott jersey. The American rapper has been chosen as the singer to 'advertise' in the upcoming Clásico, as a result of the sponsorship agreement with Spotify. For some years now, it has been the usual trend at FC Barcelona... but what no one expected was that he would be the one to break all the records.

Travis Scott Raises Nearly One Million for Barça

Travis Scott is the sixth artist resulting from the collaboration with Spotify... and in just a few hours, he has managed to sell out all the limited edition jerseys that went on sale.

In total, there were two editions of 1,899 jerseys, each priced at €399.99, and all have been sold. They have raised 1,519,162.02, but the exclusive version signed by the players: 22 in total must be added. With all sold, 65,999.78 have been added to the final figure, reaching €1,585,161.8.

This means that Travis Scott has achieved what previous collaborations hadn't, representing a huge success. Sources assure Madrid-Barcelona that there were doubts about the choice, as the first option was Taylor Swift at all times, but now they are happy.

At the time, it was leaked that Taylor Swift had been chosen, but that was more a desire than a reality. The singer set high conditions, and no agreement was reached, sources tell Madrid-Barcelona, without ruling out that it could happen in the future. In contrast, with Travis Scott, everything was easier, and now they have reached figures, in record time, that no one expected.

Travis Scott is a Money-Making Machine

Speaking about this collaboration, the American stated: "El Clásico is a moment everyone follows. Collaborating with Spotify and FC Barcelona allows me to merge my universe with theirs. It's not just about putting Cactus Jack on a jersey. It's about building something that blurs the line between music and sports. Being the first artist to perform in Barcelona as part of this collaboration and sharing this moment with my fans takes everything to another level."

Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Berman Webster II, has established himself as one of the most influential artists in the global music scene. Born in Houston, Texas, in 1991, his rise to fame began with mixtapes that quickly caught the attention of figures like Kanye West and T.I., who bet on his talent.

The big break came with his album Rodeo (2015), which marked the beginning of an unstoppable career. However, it was with Astroworld (2018) that Travis Scott became a cultural and musical phenomenon. This album, which includes hits like "SICKO MODE," broke records and positioned him as an international rap and trap superstar. His style, characterized by the fusion of psychedelic sounds, powerful beats, and a unique visual aesthetic, has set trends

In addition to his success in music, Travis has excelled as an entrepreneur. His collaboration with Nike and his own Astroworld festival have cemented him as a generational icon. His impact transcends the musical realm, and his influence is felt in both fashion and pop culture.
